Deer Run Retreat isn’t run by a property-management company – it’s our family’s cabin, and we take care of it (and our guests) personally. We’re Mark and Libby Barbee, Arizona residents who fell in love with Munds Park the way most people do: one summer weekend in the pines, and that was that.
Mark has spent his career in the Arizona fire service, where preparedness and taking care of people are the whole job – habits that carry straight into how we host. When guests tell us the cabin was spotless, the kitchen had everything, and the response to a question came in minutes, that’s not an accident.
