Deer Run Retreat is a large open-concept cabin built for family gatherings, friends’ getaways, and quiet weeks in the pines. With 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and four beds plus a sofa sleeper, there’s comfortable space for up to 8 guests.
A Kitchen That’s Actually Stocked
Most rentals give you a frying pan and good luck. Ours is ready to cook in from the minute you arrive: pots, pans, full dining sets (kids’ plates included), toaster, blender, crock pot, and air fryer — plus coffee, creamer, tea, hot cocoa, spices, condiments, and cooking basics, on us.
Gather in the Evenings
The open living area centers on the fireplace — the first thing most guests light after the drive up from Phoenix. The game cabinet is loaded: Yahtzee, Clue, Uno, Sorry, Candyland, and puzzles for indoors; cornhole, Yardzee, and big-block Jenga for the yard.
Outside
Morning coffee on the large covered front porch, dinner off the BBQ grill, and pine trees in every direction. Guests regularly tell us the porch is where they spent half their stay — dogs included.
The Practical Stuff
Air conditioning, washer and dryer, fresh linens, Wi-Fi, first-aid kit, and fire extinguishers. Dogs are welcome with a small pet fee – just tell us you’re bringing yours when you book.
Parking is in the driveway only, with room for multiple vehicles, trailers, and ATVs. Please don’t park on the street – winter snow plows can damage street-parked cars, and the Sheriff tickets or tows.
